As an Illustrator…
I like experimenting and couldn’t limit myself just to one medium. Maybe this why I’ve found collage to be an ideal way of expression in my art… and probably the most creative one! It lets me involve everything I enjoy doing: painting, drawing, photography and digital re-touch. However, usually I choose a drawing technique depending on what I create, what is its purpose and who is going to be its recipient.
I am inspired by…
…nature and its every-day spectacular phenomenon we tend to overlook or ignore… I used to seize such wonders in poetry. Now I want to see if poems can be illustrated, visualized, with no loss of its mystery and symbolical meaning. My first poetry books were created for my FMP, while getting Bachelor of Illustration Art Honours Degree at University of Bedfordshire in UK. I’m very eager to develop this project and publish more of my collages soon.
When I illustrate for children…
…I try to recall myself from childhood and my book fascinations of those days. I mostly loved vibrant, colourful, well-detailed illustrations. With all my heart I try to implement those values in all images I create for kids. And I enjoy it a lot!:)
As a graphic designer…
I specialize mostly in Web designs as I’ve been cooperating with web applications developers for years. The latest projects can be browsed in the Branding section, under Website Designs category. I also take commissions for graphic and layout designs, such as brochures, posters, postcards, business cards, company letters etc.
As Liwia Laura Klich I currently live in Poland, enjoying a geographical variety of this country. After a few years spent abroad I 'discover' this land once again. Obviously travels, following an intuition and meeting interesting people are some of the key components of these stimulating experiences.
